The AIMMAP, the Association of Metallurgical, Metalworking and Allied Industries of Portugal, was founded in 1957 and its mission is to represent and support companies in the metalworking and metalmechanic sector, contributing to their dynamism and promotion and fostering the areas of innovation, training, internationalization and cooperation.

The visit to the facilities of the ROQ Group, had a bigger focus on the ROQ Laser section, since it is the section of the group more dedicated to the metalworking, an area in which AIMMAP is integrated.

During the visit it was possible to make know the processes that give origin to our products, due to the fact that ROQ is a vertically integrated organization, in which it is responsible for the entire production process, from design and manufacturing to the marketing and commercialization of the products. The presence of AIMMAP also allowed to establish contacts and discuss topics related to future technological innovations in the world of metalworking.
